Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 37pts was Jimmy Walkinshaw on a c/b from Gary Dowdell. The encouragement award went to Peter Schultz.
Thunderbolts Thirsty Thursday played a single stableford and the winner with 34pts was Shane Barraclough on a c/b from his wife Vicki Barraclough. The encouragement award went to Tania Cullen.
Saturday was a 3-person ambrose sponsored by Julie and Owen Presnell and Simeon Cross, and the winners were Henry and Kirin Walters and Dactyl Carlon. The r’s up were Deli and Mark Faulkner and Jon Izzard. The Mars Bar Award went to Sir Les “I’m in a hurry” Forde Sally Burraston and Splitty Cullen. Les celebrated his 99th Birthday on Friday night and he was said it was all the partying that made him play bad. Good on you Les.
Twilight Golf has started. The competition runs from Thursday 15th October to the 18th December 2026, then resume 14th January till 26th March 2027. The playing days this year will be Thursdays and Fridays, so grab your mates and family and put a team together, you will need to be a social member or full playing member to pay. The cost will be $10 per round. Please see the bar staff for all the information.
SAVE THE DATES: The Uralla Open is fast approaching, so put the dates in your diary. November - Friday 27th Vets Open. Saturday 28th Mixed Open and Sunday 29th Men’s Open. All entries to the Open Weekend must be entered via the email address ( golf@urallagolfclub.com.au ) with your name, Golflink number and if you require a seat in a cart, and which days you would like to play in. Entries will close on the 20th of November 2026. Lunch will be available at club house.
Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. You can also order of the menu if you don’t want curries.
Our golf competition fees are now $25.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday and Saturday Comps. All our golf times are 9.30am for 10am tee off. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.
The Kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available.
The club house is now open 7 days a week.
Raffles are on Friday nights and Sunday afternoon. Joker Jackpot is on Friday night.
