The encouragement award went to Peter Schultz.Thunderbolts Thirsty Thursday played a single stableford and the winner with 33pts was Susie Spencer, r/up with 32pts was Margaret Macready. The encouragement award went to Tony Marsden.Saturday was the Hahn 3.5 Super Dry monthly mug and the winner with 71 was Vicki Barraclough, r/up with 72 was Tim Beaumont. Vicki also won her matchplay against Dactyl, she will now play in the final against the winner of the last 2 who is Jon Izzard and her husband Shane Barraclough. The Mars Bar Award went to Drew Bird.Sunday 9-hole social golf is back and adults tee off 10-11am, juniors 11am. If you’re a regular golfer or just want to start out, come along and have relaxed round as you don’t need a handicap. Bring your friends, meet new players and just enjoy a friendly round. Cost is only $5 for the 9 holes.JUST A WARNING THAT THE MAGPIES ARE OUT A LITTLE EARLY THIS YEAR, AND IF YOU’RE WEARING A BLACK HAT, THEY WILL SWOOP YOU, SO CHANGE THE COLOUR OF YOUR HAT.Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. All our golf times are 9.30am for 10am tee off. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.The Kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available.The club house is now open 7 days a week.Raffles are on Friday nights and Sunday afternoon.
