CAROL’S WEEKLY WRAP23/8/2026Wednesday Whackers played a single stableford and the winner with 38pts was Rhonda McIlveen, r/up with 37pts was Gary Dowdell. The encouragement award went to Murray Kennedy. Sometimes when you go away on holidays for 4 weeks to Scandinavia, you forget how to hit the ball as this one player never made it to the ladies’ tee on 2 occasions. Hopefully next week he will do better.Thunderbolts Thirsty Thursday played a single stableford and the winner with 37pts was Jenny Lisle, r/up with 36pts was Vicki Barraclough. The encouragement award went to Mandy Stoddart.Saturday was the final round of the 4BBB Championships and the men’s winners were Tim Bower and Gavin Strelitz, r/up were Kirin and Henry Walters.Sunday 9-hole social golf is back and adults tee off 10-11am, juniors 11am. If you’re a regular golfer or just want to start out, come along and have relaxed round as you don’t need a handicap. Bring your friends, meet new players and just enjoy a friendly round. Cost is only $5 for the 9 holes.Thursday nights the kitchen does a curry night with different dishes each week. You can also order of the menu if you don’t want curries.Our golf competition fees are now $25.00 per comp round. Wednesday Whackers, Thursday and Saturday Comps. All our golf times are 9.30am for 10am tee off. Any special events, cost will be advertised on all flyers.The Kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12pm to 2.30pm and 6pm to 8pm. Take aways are also available..The club house is now open 7 days a week.Raffles are on Friday nights and Sunday afternoon.
